won weak d-tocks

My weekends of debauchery have been taking a toll, so I'm going to take a week of "detox".
I'm abstaining from any of those unhealthy pastimes I've been indulging in on the weekends, and trying to flush all the toxins and whatnot out of my system.

I'm a vegetarian, but I don't tend to eat that well as it is. I usually just drink a protein shake for breakfast, then snack some until a small dinner, so this shouldn't be too hard.

This week is: no coffee, no dairy (aside from the milk protein in the shake I drink for breakfast), no "white" food (like breads and pasta, as long as I can avoid them), and lots of healthy drinks, tons of water, and fresh-ish veggies when I feel a need for solid food.
Also, tmi, but it's my period week, so no birth control.

I'm not sure why I'm making a blog, just seems like something you're supposed to document.

I'm not trying to lose weight, but I'm going to post my starting weight, ending weight, and morning and night weight each day.

As far as exercise goes, I'm not too much into that scene, although I will be getting a workout probably a few times this week, with how physical this play that I am in is.
That's partially why I'm doing this, so I can have a fresh start with that.

Starting date: Sunday, November 17th.
Starting weight: 136.5
Height: 5 foot 5 inches, or so.
I'm a teenage girl, btdubs.

  • day seven

    starting weight: 133

    Slept till noon, woke up with a boost.
    Drank a small naked green machine.
    Went to the gym and jogged a mile, did a bit on the stair step machine before it scared me too much.
    Came home and had some fruit with peanut butter and some more kombucha.
    Just waiting until midnight, this week has been good but I have some crazy cravings.

    ending weight: 132.5

  • day six

    starting weight: 134

    Boost.
    Nothing at school all day. =/
    Went to get a big old salad, and when I was waiting they gave me a free sample of pumpkin bread and I took a tiny bite out of habit and immediately regretted it. D’=
    But I ate the big old salad, and some kombucha.
    And another boost, because I like chocolate. 

    couldn’t get to the scale for an ending weight. =/

  • day five

    Starting weight: 133.5

    Slept till noon, had a boost.
    Think I had a banana, not sure…
    Made some guacamole with this “low fat” avocado. Decided that a few tortilla chips fit in with my diet since the only ingredients were corn, oil and salt, and they had no preservatives. They were stale anyway.
    Had a mango and peach smoothie at the mall, without yogurt, so I’m not sure if you call it a smoothie.
    Ran a mile and walked half a mile at the gym.
    Had some mushrooms tossed with olive oil/salt/pepper.

    Ending weight: 135

  • day four

    starting weight: 134

    Boost.
    Blue juice and carrot juice.
    Banana.
    Salad with red wine vinaigrette.
    And a couple hearts of palm.
    Finished that chain vanilla stuff.
    I’m all out of my healthy liquids.
    Had a few frozen blueberries at a friend’s house, while I watched her drown her sorrows in ice cream.

    Forgot to weigh at the end, let’s say 134

  • day three

    Starting weight: 134

    Protein boost.
    Drank a whole bottle of blue goodness, whatever it’s called, mixed with carrot juice. So half and half, actually.
    Got home craving something solid, had a few slices of tomato, some mushrooms tossed with olive oil, and some cabbage my dad made as part of normal people dinner.
    Had a cup of that chai stuff, it’s so tasty. 
    Annnnnd a banana, because my tummy still had the rumblies.

    Ending weight: 134

  • day two

    Starting weight: 134

    Morning protein boost, ho hum.
    Green tea instead of coffee.
    Drank a whole bottle of green machine/carrot juice at school.
    Stayed after for play practice, got a little exercise with the running back and forth.
    For dinner had kale with vinegar, and stir-fried up some green pepper and mushrooms with a little soy sauce.
    Just had a banana.

    Ending weight: 137

  • day one

    Starting weight: 136.5

    Slept until noon (or so, gosh darn time changes).
    Drank a high-protein boost, as I do every day. 
    Lazed about, mostly.
    Sipped on some naked green machine with some carrot juice mixed in. 
    Nommed on a handful of pumpkin seeds to offset the sweetness, and they’re apparently good for the kidneys. Duble whammy.Starting weight: 136.5
    Then some dairy-free vanilla chai protein something that tastes like egg nog. =D

    End weight: 132.5
